Modded Wii

Since the optical drive in my Wii died I decided to softmod it. It worked, so I can now play downloaded games which are stored on an external USB HD. The only other thing I needed was an SD card, which I had, so the external HD was all I needed. Most games only use about 1 GB on disk so I can put a lot on there. So if anybody was wondering about this, you can stop wondering. It can be done.

The Wii was a pretty neat idea in concept, but pretty terrible in reality. For how clever asians are supposed to be, whoemver decided to cap that bitch at 480p should be assfucked by Godzilla. That alone effectively knocked it out of the running for any cross platform game, which means it's only good for Wii only titles, and even those look pretty shitty on anything above a 40" tv.

I think I've used mine less than 20 times today. Complete waste of $200 bucks.

I never even heard of Dolphin. Got it working on my laptop, need a bluetooth dongle for it though. Lego Starwars appeared to load fine, so that's good.
